Soul Intention is a 9-piece sixties soul band based in Somersham, Cambridgeshire, UK. Our line-up consists of two female singers, a rhythm section of drums, bass, guitar and keyboards and a three-piece horn section consisting of Trumpet, Tenor/Bari Sax and Alto Sax/Flute that also provides backing vocals.

We play songs from the 1960s that were recorded on the Stax and Motown labels together with other songs from the same era that have a similar "soulful intention".
